As a regulated healthcare profession, osteopathy also works hand in hand with the care you already receive. What can be treated at the Leytonstone clinic
Below are some of the conditions most commonly presented at the Leytonstone clinic. Osteopathy can be used as part of the management of these complaints, helping to relieve pain, restore movement and support recovery. This list should not be read as a list of cures and responses to treatment vary from person to person. What’s realistic for your individual circumstances, will always be discussed with you at your appointment.

Injuries and overuse complaints from training, sport or exercise, alongside rehabilitation to get you back to activity safely.

- recovery and rehabilitation
Typically from overtraining, poor technique, a sudden increase in activity, or returning to exercise after a break. Seen in runners, cyclists, footballers, gym and CrossFit enthusiasts, dancers, and weekend athletes of every level, from first-timers to the well-seasoned.
Life stages
Musculoskeletal changes and discomfort that come with particular phases of life, from pregnancy through to managing long-term joint conditions.
- pregnancy-related aches and pains
- arthritic pain
- post-surgical recovery
The body's needs shift with age and circumstance, whether adapting to the demands of pregnancy, staying active and independent in later years, or rebuilding strength after surgery or a period of reduced movement. Support is tailored to wherever you are in life.
Whatever is behind your pain, and whatever your age, job or activity, the first step is understanding what is really going on. Every appointment begins by getting to the root of the problem, so treatment can be built around you and your life.
